I'm back!!! I have finally procured a means to get online while at our new place. Which reminds me...I need to take pictures soon of our new place and show them to you. I had to end up going with a mobile connect card. It has its advantages and disadvantages. I will just say I am still not thrilled at the thought of a 2 year contract on it. *Sigh* I was desperate though. I can't work on my blog (among other websites I like to visit) at work, and how was I going to show everyone my baby girl once she arrived? Snail mail? Argh! The thought is revolting.
Okay, so as I promised in my last post a long time ago this will be picture overload!!! Yeah-how fun! :) First off...Bruno. He is about 5 1/2 months here. He is really just the sweetest puppy...and really well behaved (well most of the time).
Okay and now for my growing belly! I need to take a new picture for this week. In fact, I have all of my belly pics on my computer, but I need to figure out how far along I was in all of them. Doh! So to satisfy everyone, I will only post my latest belly pic. I was 29 weeks (and please forgive any blurriness of the picture or mess in the background). Without further ado...

If this were high school, I'd be expelled for my excessive absenteeism!

I've been bad...
but I have a good excuse. Actually, excuses. I have been terribly busy and tired. I have been meaning to update my blog a lot sooner than this, but alas, I am bad!
So what has been keeping me busy.
*Work. The other full-time gal had her baby on April Fool's Day due to an emergency C-section. Mom and baby are both well. I'm happy to report that baby Aster got to go home on Easter Sunday. So we have been short-staffed. And I have been stressed to say the least. Good news now, my other co-worker who was on leave is now back, so I am a lot less stressed!!!
*Bruno. Bruno, you ask? Yes, Sean and I are officially insane. As if we didn't already have a lot of stuff going on this year (marriage, baby, moving, etc.) we decided to throw a puppy into the mix. We adopted Bruno almost 4 weeks ago. He is a very good puppy, as puppies go :) His birthday is the day after Sean's! So he is 4 1/2 months old. I figure this is about as good of training that we will get for the baby (without actually taking someone's baby). He has to go potty in the middle of the night, cries/whines a lot, and requires a lot of attention (and discipline). I will be posting pictures of Bruno later. Speaking of potty breaks in the middle of the night, I should point out that I sleep through those *blush*. Sean is such a great husband (or maybe he is just a much lighter sleeper than I am *laugh*) that he doesn't make his pregnant wife get up to take him out.
*Moving. No, we haven't moved yet. Sean and I decided that the house we were going to rent just wasn't a good idea for various reasons. We have found a different house in Frankfort. It required a bit of work (which may be an understatement), but Sean is doing all of the work himself. I'm optimistic that we may be able to "officially" move into the house this weekend. There will be a future post about this and pics to see the before and after.
*Being pregnant. I have been sick lately. And moody and tired. Now being pregnant doesn't make me stressed. In fact, I have probably been more pleasant than ever. Go figure! Just the stress doesn't help with the pregnancy. I am feeling a lot better today. I found out that Vicks Vapo Rub is okay to use when pregnant, so I slathered some on my feet and went to bed last night. Hopefully, one more night of that and I will be feeling like a million bucks!
So that is why I have been too busy/tired to post lately. My apologies!
Speaking of Little Bit (that is what I have been calling Baby Girl lately-since she still doesn't have a name), she has been a lot more active. I also look pregnant now. I will post some belly progression pics for your enjoyment in my next post. It is a pleasure to feel her move around and kick/punch me. I'm sure I will be complaining about the pain down the road, so I am enjoying it while I can :)
Til next time! Up next, pics of Bruno and my growing belly!

This is so hard!
I never imagined that naming a child would be this excruciating. Thank the Lord I have time before she gets here and I am obliged to name her. At the rate we are going though, her name will end up being Baby Girl Parsons. Hmph! Great parents we are going to be.
In all seriousness, this is really difficult. I really love one particular name. That name happens to be really popular. Gee, thanks Lindsay, for pointing that out! Now I'm debating said name because I don't want my daughter in school with a ton of other kids with that name. My child is unique and that deserves an unique name. No, not like crazy unique. Just unique enough that she stands a good chance to be the only kid named that in school. I could just name her what I want to name her, and go by her middle name (which is yet to be picked either-just as difficult a task) but I don't want to do that. I think the name I like sounds really great with her last name.
Thank goodness we don't have to pick out a last name either. I'm glad that is set in stone! I would probably be in a mental institute if I had to pick out 3 names! So I guess the baby's name is still Baby Girl Parsons. Maybe we'll make some headway in the coming weeks. Or maybe I will. Sean has been no help so far. My sister has; she compiled me a huge list of names that fit my criteria (well kind of). Unfortunately, none of them strike me as "the name". And I'm very glad that I found out what we are having. At least this way we have a few months.
Any tips and advice would be much appreciated.

We're having a...
GIRL!!! Yes, that is right. Apparently, most everybody was wrong. While I was "hoping" for a boy, I had lately starting thinking my little one was a girl. My reasoning behind this is purely based on Murphy's Law. You see we had several boy names picked out, but no girl names. So there opens the name debate. I'm sure this will be a long process. Hopefully it won't be a knock-down, drag-out fight!
I'm sure you all want to see pics! Most of the pics I have are of my little girl's organs. While I care very much about said organs, I'm sure most of you don't care to see the 4 chambers of her heart. (If you do, please let me know and I'll post those) I do have several face shots, quite a few feet shots, and one adorable pic of her sucking her thumb! I got a lot of feet shots because it seems my little girl is shy and modest. Aww, I'm proud. One could also say she is stubborn. My ultrasound tech worked and worked to get her to show us the goods. It took about 15 minutes and alot of prodding. The baby kept moving her legs and feet in a way that still wouldn't allow us a peek. Then she moved her bum so we couldn't see. And finally when we thought we were in the clear and she had moved her feet and legs...she put her hands down to cover! So seeing as how she is obviously not wanting to show off her money shot, I will not be posting said pics! (However, if you really want to see I may rethink it).
So friends and Internet meet (yet to be named) Baby Girl Parsons!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! (and catching up)
I'm bad! I haven't updated in awhile. I mean to, but I ususally end up forgetting or get tired. Enough with the excuses! I will make my best effort to update more regularly. And by regularly, I mean more than once a month. Maybe I'll be able to committ to once a week!!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! If you are planning on imbibing, be careful! But also, have one for me!!! Today is Sean's dad & stepmom's anniversary. I do have to say that if they didn't already have this day as their anniversary then Sean and I would have it!!! Today is also the day that I find out whether we are having a little boy or a little girl!!! I have a 3pm ultrasound scheduled...and it won't get here soon enough! My mom will be going with me. I hope Sean is able to go also, but he is working down south, so he may not make it in time :( Either way, I will find out :) I will have to swear my mother to secrecy and silence-this will be the biggest challenge of all. Even more so than me being secret and silent-and if you know me well you know how difficult that is! Of course, after Sean knows then everyone else can find out. It is only proper. So if you are all so very luck-and I do have to say that St. Patrick's Day is a very lucky day-then I may make 2 posts today!
Oh and I forgot to update awhile back that we didn't move to that farm house. But that is a post in and of itself, so check back!!!

Moving on Up!
Well, Sean and I have finally found a place to rent that met our criteria. Not an apartment, no noisy neighbors, land that we can have a garden in, at least 2 bedrooms, and on the north side of Indy. Check all those boxes!
We put a deposit down on an old farm house. Very nice...well except the paint, orange shag carpet, bright blue carpet, wood paneling in the kitchen (hence dark and dreary), and nasty vinyl in the kitchen. Other than that, this place is about perfect! And since all of my complaints were ones of pure vanity, we decided we could deal with it. Now just getting the little old lady to let us "rehab" the place a bit. I can live with the carpet (though I'm sure it is older than I am; maybe Sean too); except in the 2nd bedroom (which will be baby's bedroom). You have to love little, old ladies. They are extremely honest! She said the previous tenants had a flood in the bathroom and the back bedroom got flooded. She mentioned her son tore the carpet up and cleaned it real well, but I'm still hesitant. I don't want any kid of mine crawling, lying, etc in a place where fecal matter may or may not have been. Granted it will be awhile before said child is here, let alone even crawling, but you can see where I'm coming from.
I will have to post pictures of the place after we move in. Maybe it isn't as hideous as I'm making it out to be. My mind could very well be playing tricks on me, but I'm pretty sure the nausea I felt when walking into the living room (orange shag) and the BLUE room (bright blue walls, and blue carpet ~which will be our bedroom by the way) wasn't related to this pregnancy.
I'm optimistic that Sean can talk the owners into letting us "freshen" it up a bit, or however he wants to put it.
And speaking of the owners, well that is a post in and of itself, but I think they are very sweet! So now we just have to start getting packed up, and buy a few things (i.e. washer/dryer, kitchen table) and we are good to go. My dad is excited about this because we will be a lot closer to him. Approximately 9-10 miles northwest of him. I'm sure my mom would be excited too, but seeing as how I KNOW she will ask to move in, I'm trying to put this off as long as possible. So now we are moving on up to a way bigger place and way more north! There are only a few things I'll miss about the place we are in now...Kerry and Kathy! But I know we can still travel down to the southside and see them, and they are always welcome at our place.
Woohoo! Now off to plan my garden for this year....

The BIG Announcement!
Okay...now that I have officially told everyone that needs to know (well minus my employer, but I can put that off for another week or two; maybe three) I can post it here. Sean and I are having a baby!
Yes, you read that right. I am pregnant. I guess the politically correct thing would be to say that "we" are pregnant. However, Sean hasn't been the one dealing with the day to day stuff; other than my moodiness. And well, anyone that knows me, knows that isn't anything new. LOL!
Okay, so you are probably wondering a few things. I'll address what I think you may want to know. If you have any other comments/questions feel free to ask. So here goes:
I am currently a little over 13 weeks; every Friday I start a new week. I have had 2 ultrasounds and will be posting some of the pictures at the end. The baby is estimated to arrive August 14th, 2009. We do not know what we are having yet. We will find out at the earliest at our 20 wk scan; assuming baby is cooperating. I have felt pretty great so far! Not too tired (though I do sleep at least 10 hours a night; sometimes 12). Not too bad of morning sickness. I think I only threw up a handful of times; however all of those were at night, and a few times I think it was the result of food poisoning. You are more prone to food poisoning while pregnant, as your digestive systems S-L-O-W-S down. Supposedly your metabolism increases too. While I have gained minimal weight (think yo-yo; gain some, lose some, etc.) I have not seen any thing to prove this. I have had this "friend" with me called Bloat for some time. Most mornings she is gone, but usually after lunch she returns. Damn friend, Bloat. I am not showing; just look bloated/heavier. You'd think that would be a dead give-away, but alas, I have not always been skinny my whole life.
Okay, enough boring details. Now for some fun pics! Last one (was supposed to be first but it just put the pics in this order) was when we found out how far along I was. It was taken at 8w6d (that is weeks and days-so just before 9 weeks). Then the following ones were at 12w6d. It is amazing how much s/he has grown in 4 weeks! And it was neat seeing the little bugger just flip and twist!
Face Shot!
