I know this is very delayed. I have been busy. Haven't we all, though? Okay, well on top of busy, I have been tired and sick. And lacking any enthusiasm or determination to do ANYTHING.
That being said, I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I had a very nice Christmas with my family. Of course, I got food poisoning from something. I ate everything everyone else ate, but alas, my luck being as it is, I was the one that got food poisoning. A day or two after Christmas, I started feeling better, but not well enough to go to Sean's families' Christmases. So he went without me. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't feel up to going, but I did not miss that drive. All in all, it worked out. He ended up staying for a couple of days, and had I gone he would not have been able to.
I am currently on vacation. I had a ton of stuff planned for my vacation. Some fun, some productive. HA! I have none neither. I have slept a lot, and layed around. I have neglected all chores (except laundry). I do enjoy doing laundry. I love the smell of clean clothes!
The New Year is almost upon us! Does anyone have any exciting resolutions? I am not making a resolution this year. In fact, the only resolution I am resolving to make is to not make any more resolutions. I just don't see a point. I can resolve to do stuff as I see fit, or not. Speaking of fit, yeah...I need to work on that. Sean keeps harping me about it. I'm getting a bit peeved with him about the whole "fat" thing. He keeps saying he just wants me to be happy with myself and he thinks I would feel much better about myself if I just lost some weight/got in shape. Well, Sean, why don't you go fly a kite. I feel fine the way I am. When I feel like it, I will start working out. But only when I feel like it. Until then, you can take your song and dance elsewhere!
Until next time...

Another Year Older!
Well, this is a few days late, but I am in fact another year older. Do I feel older? I don't really know, nor do I care. I got a really good birthday surprise though! I'm not going to tell you what that is until after Christmas...hehe! What did I get for my birthday...I got a HUGE veggie tray at work (I'm not that into cake), and my dad gave me $. Sean has yet to give me my present. He says he has it, but I'm wondering what he is waiting for. It is already 2 days past my birthday. Umm, hello Sean...what are you waiting on???
Sean's birthday is Sunday, so I'm gearing up for his birthday. I didn't get him anything big, as he would be upset with me if I spent a lot of money. Heck, he gets a little upset with any money I spend that isn't necessary. I will be making a really big, really yummy carrot cake for his birthday. It will actually be both of our cakes, since I didn't get one on my birthday (not that I expected him to bake or buy me one), but I'll let him blow out the candles since it will actually be his day that day. My favorite cake is carrot cake, and that just sounds sooooo good to me right now. Yum! And cream cheese frosting...my mouth is watering!
I had a "half day" at work yesterday. It technically wasn't even half a day, as I was only there for about 3 hours. I had 6 extra hours of vacation time to use before the end of the year (well techincally I have 4 days and 6 hours, but I'm using those 4 days after Christmas), otherwise I lose it. Now I just have to wait a few more weeks and then I'm off until after the New Year.
My sister will be home soon, so I will be spending a large portion of my time watching Gilmore Girls with her. I'm hoping to get through all seven seasons with her during this week, but realistically, we will probably only get through a few. Kudos to us trying though! The original plan was to drink bottles and bottles of wine, eat a couple of chocolate chip cheesecakes and watch Gilmore Girls. That plan has been amended a bit. And I don't think we need to eat more than one cheesecake. I know I wouldn't be able to fit into any of my clothes after this vacation if I did. Heck, I may not be able to anyway.
Well, I'm going to go take a nap for a bit before I get ready for work. I woke up extremely early this morning for some reason...and started doing dishes, baking muffins, and cleaning! What is wrong with me?!?! I even woke up before Sean did...and that N.E.V.E.R. happens. He did get some fresh, warm orange cranberry muffins for breakfast. Even if he did ruin them with a glass of milk (yuck). To each their own, I guess. I still love him regardless. At least it wasn't mushrooms he wanted to buy and keep in the refrigerator. I DETEST mushrooms and so does Sean...this is a match made in heaven! I also detest milk, but use it to cook/bake with. Though I have to admit I made hot chocolate last night and used milk...for the first time ever! And it was...dare I say this...better than when I have made it with water. If it helps me get to sleep at night, then I *may* do this more often. Don't hold your breath though...You will not be converting me into a milk drinker....EVER! Why I don't like milk is a story for another day...
